Modern Tactics 4 Progress

Hello, I started working on MT4 again. I'm working on it everyday and i'm excited for it once again.

It will be finished by late December. I have made some changes to the game and such. The game is going to be awsome.

If he can pull it off, this will be one of the best christmas presents I'll ever get...

On the other hand, Xgen Studios stick RPG 2 is just starting the preorder, and thats been in development for 7 years. And they have a team of guys working on it... not very reasurring.

vehicles have already been debated previously, I'm pretty sure it has been unofficially announced that there would be NO VEHICLES in any MT game whatsoever.

Deffiantly add the XM8 and XM29.
Instead of vehicles in the normal levels, why not just add a few levels where the maps are much bigger than normal, and vehicles would take up one tile. Instead of invividual soldiers, use squads.

A group perk that allows you to select a bunch of units and have them do the same things. (All open fire at the same time, ect.)

Most of all- A long, belivible story that will make us sit back at the end of the game and say "wow. this is lautan's greatest accoplishment"

oh, and a 2 player mode (not online) so I can play against my brother.

Sorry for the long post...I think thats it (I probably could write a whole book on this though).

"Squad Tactics". Sounds awesome. It would probably end up like C&C (Command and Conquer) though, which would still be ok because those games were amazing aswell!
